GASWORKS MANAGER
The Gasworks in Sudbury, Derbyshire is a Grade II listed former country estate Gasworks designed by noted architect George Devey. It has been open to the public as a community, events and heritage space since 2023. This role is an opportunity to lead The Gasworks at an exciting time and make a real difference as the organisation looks to secure its long-term future. We are looking for someone with the energy, commitment and skills to generate sufficient income to deliver our vision of a vibrant community space whilst maintaining our lovely heritage building.
The Gasworks Manager will work in collaboration with trustees to develop the strategic direction and sustainability of the Charity and manage daily operation of the site.
The role will cover three key aspects.
1/ Deliver the Business Plan and associated activity and marketing plans.
2/ Manage the Trust’s assets including building, grounds and financial viability.
3/ Lead, motivate and manage the staff and volunteer teams.

Please note that this is a 22.5 hours per week role. The salary is up to £30,000 pro rata (based on 37.5h full time equivalent) dependent upon experience.
