SUDBURY GASWORKS RESTORATION TRUST
The running of The Gasworks Sudbury is overseen by a team of dedicated local volunteers, many of whom have been involved throughout the fundraising and restoration phases of the building project, and continue to serve as Trustees on the Board of Sudbury Gasworks Restoration Trust (SGRT), a registered charity and building preservation trust.
The role of SGRT is to preserve Sudbury Gasworks for the benefit of the people locally and nationally for recreation and education; to preserve the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the site; and to promote and raise awareness of the building’s heritage and significance.
COMMUNITY PLEDGE
The restoration of The Gasworks Sudbury would not have been possible without the support of the local community, and our Board of Trustees are dedicated to creating a space that is accessible to all within Sudbury. Read our pledge to the local community.
