Sudbury Gasworks Restoration Trust

Our Trustees and Staff
Local volunteers formed Sudbury Gasworks Restoration Trust in 2014 to save the building. There are strong connections between Trustees and the local community, through the Local History Group, the Parish Council and local businesses.

Tim is a dental surgeon, business owner and entrepreneur. He has served on the committees of rowing clubs for over 20 years, in the capacities of Captain, Secretary and Treasurer. Following a career of more than 35 years in education, which began teaching mathematics in secondary schools and included two headships and leading secondary education for a Local Authority, Noel retired in September 2013. Since then he has been working voluntarily in a number of organisations, most notably as Chair of Trustees for WESC, a charity providing education and care for young people with visual impairment and complex needs, and Sporting Club Inkberrow where he supported the process of becoming a charity.
He is married with 3 adult daughters and 4 grand-daughters and moved to the Sudbury area in 2022. Noel continues to spend time running as well as eating out – two pastimes that go together rather well!
