We simply wouldn’t be where we are today without volunteers from the local community. The running of The Gasworks Sudbury is overseen by volunteers on the Board of Trustees and our fundraising arm, Friends of Sudbury Gasworks, is also run by members of the local community.
VOLUNTEER WITH US
Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people, develop skills and support our venue. Our volunteers get involved in all areas of The Gasworks Sudbury, from building and outdoor maintenance to supporting events and helping with fundraising. Whether you’re hands-on and keen to get stuck in, or would like to help behind the scenes, there’s a place for you.

FRIENDS OF SUDBURY GASWORKS
The Gasworks Sudbury is managed with the dual purpose of hosting bespoke, exclusive private events, as well as providing a space for the local community.
Friends of Sudbury Gasworks is a fundraising arm of The Gasworks Sudbury and is run by volunteers to deliver events with the local community in mind. Proceeds go towards the running of the historical building, which helps make community-focused events possible.

Internships and Student Placements
We offer a limited number of 3-6 month internships throughout the year. These can be part of your undergraduate industry placement programme, or post graduate career development. Get in touch with us to find out more.
